Congratulations to the NMSC U16 Girls for winning the GU17, 2017 Walter Kirchner Soccer Tournament on June 18th, 2017!

The team competed against U17 teams all weekend and they didn’t back down. The Panthers won their first two games, both with a 2-0 score but lost their third game to the U17 Brantford Galaxy by a score of 2-1. In the semis, facing the number one team in division A, our girls came back from a 1-0 deficit in the first half to win 2-1!

The girls were happy to face Brantford again in the finals.  Avenging their only blemish in the tournament, the girls scored with 4 minutes remaining to tie the score 1-1. Winning the finals in penalty shots, 6-5, the U16 NMSC girls were crowned champions!
