Battling the heat and the rain over the weekend of May 19^th & 20^th, the U16 girls gave a really strong showing against some tough opponents by winning the Orangeville SC 50^th Anniversary Stormfront Tournament.

The girls then followed this great feat by finishing undefeated in pool play and ended in 2nd place in the Collingwood United SC Soccer Tournament. Playing 3 games in the scorching heat on Sunday May 27^th was definitely a challenge but NMSC continued to battle hard. They came up short in a 2-1 loss to a really good St. Catharines Jets team, who scored in the last couple minutes to avoid PKs.
