Battling the heat and the rain over the weekend of May 19th & 20th, the U16 girls gave a really strong showing against some tough opponents by winning the Orangeville SC 50th Anniversary Stormfront Tournament.
The girls then followed this great feat by finishing undefeated in pool play and ended in 2nd place in the Collingwood United SC Soccer Tournament. Playing 3 games in the scorching heat on Sunday May 27th was definitely a challenge but NMSC continued to battle hard. They came up short in a 2-1 loss to a really good St. Catharines Jets team, who scored in the last couple minutes to avoid PKs.
Great work girls! Now we look to dominate in regular season in the Premier Division! Thank you to Coach Art Daniels for all your support!
GO PANTHERS!
