The objective of the Technical Assistant is to assist the Club Head Coach in the Technical Leadership of the High Performance Soccer Program at North Mississauga Soccer Club. Working in a dynamic, fast paced environment, the Technical Assistant will work to ensure our Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) and League1 Ontario programs are being administered and delivered in a professional manner. This position will play a critical role in the Technical Department, by ensuring the optimal environment is created in High-Performance Programs.

Job Responsibilities

  •  Compile Match Day Reports from High Performance coaches on all High Performance Activities to include – Travel, Meals, Facility, Team Play, Match Recap, etc based on weekly feedback of Coaching Staff; 
  • Ensure High Performance Coaches prepare Player Evaluation Matrices and deliver to Ontario Soccer in a timely manner;
  • Provide bi-weekly High Performance Staff meetings and notes as required by Ontario Soccer;
  • Assist in the implementation and delivery of a Coach Mentorship Program that will establish a club coaching philosophy;
  • Provide ongoing communication to program participants (monthly) and OPDL Technical Staff (weekly)
  • Assisting Club Head Coach in all aspects of running a competitive soccer program;
  • Film breakdown of League1 Ontario Matches and OPDL matches where applicable;
