PROGRAM OVERVIEW
We’re excited to launch the 2026 Outdoor Season of the Junior Reds Academy — a proven development pathway designed for players who want more from their soccer experience.
The Junior Reds Academy offers high-quality training built on modern methodology, game-realistic learning, and engaging session design that keeps players motivated while accelerating their development. Our program creates a clear and seamless pathway for players aspiring to advance into LFC IA Mississauga Grassroots (U8–U12) and Competitive (U13+) programs, while also providing an outstanding developmental experience for those focused on long-term growth.
Whether your goal is elite competition or strong foundational development, the Junior Reds Academy is where motivated players train, improve, and prepare for the next level.
KEY ELEMENTS OF THE PROGRAM
1 Specialized Training:
While maintaining the core essence of our Grassroots philosophy, the Program offers a unique curriculum that focuses on individual player development and Game-related actions.
2 Internal Competitive Play:
Competition within the game is key in player development
3 Dedicated Coaching
Our Grassroots coaching staff deliver high-energy, player-centred sessions built on a modern training methodology, creating an environment where players are challenged, engaged, and inspired to develop confidence, creativity, and game understanding.
4 Pathway to Grassroots:
Player progress is regularly monitored by our Recreational program Manager, and players may be given the opportunity to join the Grassroots program if it’s within their objectives.
COMMITTMENT
The program prepares players for the grassroots pathway and requires the players to demonstrate dedication and commitment towards all their team events. The program runs continuously from June to August 2026. To fully prepare for the Grassroots pathway, players should exhibit consistent attendance every week.

REGISTRATION
To secure your place in the program, please register on PlayMetrics. Players must register for the full program (Monday,Wednesday and Sunday). Spots are limited – first come, first served! All registrations are completed online via PlayMetrics.
PROGRAM FEES PROGRAM
2026 Junior Reds Academy – Summer outdoor: $585
PAYMENT METHODS
The Club has transitioned to a cashless system through PlayMetrics. Families can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Visa Debit without additional fees. E-transfers are not accepted.
LATE PAYMENTS
PlayMetrics will automatically charge your payment method on the specified date. Families will receive a notification if there’s an issue with the payment. If card declines aren’t resolved within 48 hours, a $20 late fee applies. Most payment issues can be resolved directly within the PlayMetrics app.
REFUNDS
All refunds/cancellations are subject to the Refund Policy available on the website. Cancellations due to inclement weather are not eligible for refunds.
FEE ASSISTANCE
Fee assistance programs are available via KidSport and Jumpstart. You can apply to both, and certain programs accept multiple applications annually. Please verify with the respective funder.
