Congratulations to the Panthers Boy’s 2000C Team in winning their first tournament this past weekend in Muskoka. The Panthers beat a very strong Aurora team 4 – 1 in the Finals.
This is their first year playing REP. Most of the players on the team were playing house league last year. They started from behind and were willing to work hard. They learned to listen, believe in themselves, play with discipline and develop a positive attitude.
They have also really bonded and learned how to play as a team. The players are supportive of each other. The team has been supported by an amazing coaching staff and a great group of parents who were constantly volunteering with food and other team requirements.
This team has also shown how players and parents from many different backgrounds can work together, play together and share in the success together with such a positive result.
