January 28, 2015 – Mississauga, ON: Today the North Mississauga Soccer received confirmation of its acceptance into the inaugural League 1 Ontario Women’s Division – a professional standards based league sanctioned by the Ontario Soccer Association that kicks off this spring.
“We are very excited and extremely honoured to be part of this ground breaking league” commented NMSC President Trevor Bertrand after receiving word of the club’s acceptance into the League. “We are committed to providing our players with a clear and sustainable pathway to achieve their highest levels of success on the field. League 1 Ontario is the next level for our young players to strive for as they continue their soccer playing careers at the club.”
The NMSC will now work with the League 1 Ontario administration to ensure a smooth transition into semi-professional league play as the league gears up for the 2015 season.
