Dear NMSC Families,
North Mississauga Soccer Club Inc (NMSC) will be hosting its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 28, 2020 at 5:00 pm. Due to COVID-19 and continuing restrictions on indoor gatherings and vaccination requirements, the AGM will be held in virtual format and pre-registration will be required. Details on the online format will be communicated in a separate communication.
The meeting will be conducted in accordance to the Club’s Constitution, dated November 3, 2019, and voting members will elect board of director positions, review annual reports and audited financial statements for the year ended Sept 30.
At the AGM, members will elect the positions of President; Director of Competitive; Director of Development; Director-at-Large (I); and, Director-at-Large (II). Nominations for positions on the Board of Directors may be made by any Voting Member. Nominees must be present at the meeting to accept their nomination. Except for Director-at-large (II), each elected Director will serve for the maximum two (2) year term and then the individual must seek re-election in order to continue as a Director. The elected Director-at-large (2) will serve a balance of term and will be up for re-election in 2022, in accordance with our Constitution.
