NMSC will make every effort to accommodate placement on a team with ONE other registered player if submitted by the March 16th deadline. All play together requests must be one-to-one reciprocated requests. One-sided requests will not be considered.
For example: Jane Doe registers and requests for her friend Abby Smith; Abby Smith must then request for Jane Doe when registering.
All requests are subject to the following conditions:
- First AND last names are required to have the request considered.
- Siblings are considered one request.
- Head Coach & Assistant Coach Requests are considered their one player together request.
- Coach requests will not be accepted.
- Requests must be made on or before the posted deadline*, and both registrations must be paid in full.
- Registration with NMSC is not dependent on the Play Together Request being granted.
No. Requests to be on a specific coach’s team are not allowed and will be denied.
No. City permits and field sizes and nights of play dictate which age groups play where. Final field schedules will only be confirmed by the end of April once the City of Mississauga provides NMSC with field permits. However, all fields are within the North Mississauga boundaries.
All refund requests must be submitted to the office in writing no later than 7 days prior to the season start date. All refunds are subject to a $40 administrative fee.

The Season
NMSC relies on the generosity of volunteer coaches for our Recreational Recreational soccer programs. Volunteering is a terrific way to get involved in soccer, while at the same time supporting your club and your community. If you are interested in volunteering with NMSC, choose the VOLUNTEER NOW option in your family account in PowerUP.
Once registered, you will receive a payment receipt from the online system as proof of successful registration with a list of important dates in it.
OUTDOOR:
In early April, the NMSC Staff will start the process of assigning coaches and players to teams. If not enough coaches have volunteered you will receive correspondence from the Club asking for your help. Please volunteer your time to help coach if at all possible. In early May the rosters will be finalize the player rosters for each of the teams.
Once the player rosters have been finalized you will get a welcome/introductory call/email from your coach. In mid-May your team schedule will also be posted online along with field maps and season information.
To access your schedules, please log into your account here.
INDOOR:
You will receive an email a couple weeks before the season start date with team information and uniform pick up information. The uniform pick up will be during set times at the NMSC Clubhouse (10 Falconer Dr. Unit 12). No uniforms will be brought to the field for uniform pick up as it would take away from the player’s playing experience on the first day.
To access your schedules, please log into your account here.
Outdoor: The annual Coaches Meeting takes place the first/second week in May. U7+ coaches receive their rosters with player’s contact information and team uniforms. They are asked to reach out to parents within 48 hours of the meeting. As our Coaches for these divisions are volunteers, please have patience to hear from them.
If you have not yet heard from you coach, this could mean that we are still looking for coaches for the division. Please check your emails for any email sent by the office looking for volunteers.
Please do NOT contact the office until you have not heard from your coach by 7 days prior to your child’s first game.
Indoor: Typically you’ll hear from your coach the week of the season’s first game.

Outdoor:
Practices U9+ are coach dependent. The majority of practices take place 30 mins to 45 mins prior to the start of the game. The NMSC also encourages all players to take part in the Panther Development Program (PDP) sessions to receive additional technical training. The NMSC does not offer additional team practice days.
Indoor:
As NMSC rents turf time from the City of Mississauga, there is a 10 minute activity prior to the game in our U7+ age groups. Our PDP program is recommended for players who would like more playing throughout the week.
Soccer is played in the rain. However, throughout the season’s games or practices may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Should fields be closed, the NMSC website will be updated by 4:30 pm and a general email will be sent to those divisions affected by any closures. Follow us on social media for updates as they happen.
If the fields are not cancelled ahead of time by the City of Mississauga, please show up to your field ready to play. Technical Staff/Referees will decide at the field if it is safe enough to play. Safety comes first. The complete Inclement Weather Policy is available here.
Cancelled games are not rescheduled.
