APPLYING TO BE A COACH

NMSC utilizes volunteer coaches for our Recreational soccer programs. Volunteering is a terrific way to get involved in soccer, while at the same time supporting your club and your community.

RETURNING COACHES
Please log into your existing account through our Power Up system. If you are not the primary account holder in the Power Up registration system or if you are under the age of 18,  you are required to be added as a player through the "Profile" option of the logged in account. You must also have a unique email address. You can volunteer with the club by clicking the VOLUNTEER NOW in the main menu. Applying to be a Coach – Power Up How-To Guide

NEW TO NMSC?
Welcome to the Club, we are excited that you're interested in coaching with us! If you are over the age of 18, you will need to create an account through Power Up. If you are under the age of 18, you'll need a guardian to create an account and add you as a player. How to Register Guide & Applying to be a Coach – Power Up How-To Guide . Once you have created your profile you can volunteer with the club by clicking the VOLUNTEER NOW in the main menu.

NMSC COACHES MEETING

To kick off the start of the season, there will be coaches meeting for all volunteers coaching in the Outdoor 2020 season.

This is an opportunity for you to meet the other coaches in your division, review the rules and the PowerUp coach’s portal.




FREE NMSC EDUCATION COACHING CLINICS

Clinic #1 & #2 Dates and Times TBD

NMSC host 2 FREE coaching education clinics per outdoor season (pre-season & mid-season). Each of these clinics will be different so we encourage you to attend as many as possible.
These clinics will be conducted by our NMSC Technical Staff and will review various warm-up sessions and activities that can be utilized throughout the season. Our coaches will also demonstrate a number of on-field age-appropriate practice sessions. Please come dressed to participate. All coaches – both new and returning – are strongly encouraged to attend and take advantage of these coaching education opportunities.
