2024 PROGRAM OVERVIEW
- This program is led by Volunteer Coaches and supervised by Field Convenors.
- These age groups will play 11v11 format games with 40-minute halves. Match Officials included.

Dear NMSC Families,
We want to remind all our members that respecting referees and their decisions is fundamental to our club’s values and the spirit of the game. Last night, an incident occurred where a referee felt threatened. This is not acceptable. We ask everyone to support a positive and safe environment for all participants, including our referees. Your cooperation helps ensure that our young athletes can enjoy and learn from the game of soccer in a respectful and secure atmosphere.

- Age Groups: U14 (born 2010), U15 (born 2009), U16 (born 2008), U17 (born 2007), U18 (born 2006)
- Gender: Boys & Girls (separate programs)
- Fee: $259 (until April 1st at 11:59pm), $274 (until April 20th at 11:59pm), $294 (final price)
- Start Date: Week of May 11th
- End Date: Week of August 6th (extended for Monday and Saturday programs due to long weekends)
- Program Length: 1 Orientation Week + 12 Weeks
- Orientation Week: the first week of the program will allow the players to meet their coaches, collect uniforms, and get familiar with their teammates. No games/training during the first week.
- Schedule & Team Assignment: will be posted to PowerUp Sports
- Exception Dates: No programs on Long Weekends or Statutory Holidays (Victoria Day, Civic Holiday, Canada Day, Labour Day)
- Volunteer Coaches Wanted: A player’s family member who volunteers to coach their team for the entire season, will receive a 50% discount on their registration (1 coach per team). Please complete the 2024 NMSC Recreational League – Volunteer Coach Form

WHAT IS INCLUDED?
- Uniform (jersey, shorts, socks)
- 1 game per week
- 1 Orientation Week + 12 Week Program
- Play Together Request: If you wish to play with friends, please submit a Play Together Request during PowerUp registration. Max 3 per team. All requests must be reciprocated. The deadline is May 10th.
- NMSC Recreational Tournament: August 24th & 25th, 2024 (more details below)
PLEASE NOTE:
- Players MUST bring their own shin pads and soccer cleats to ensure player safety
- If you start the program after the orientation week, please pick up your uniform from the Clubhouse (10 Falconer Dr. Unit #12) during office hours
- The Club reserves the right to change field locations, days of week, and time of play based on field availability and registration numbers
- 3% Surcharge applies to credit card payments on PowerUp Sports
2024 NMSC RECREATIONAL TOURNAMENT
All Teams (U14-U18) are invited to participate in the annual NMSC Recreational Tournament end of-season event!
- Date: August 24th & 25th, 2024
- Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Schedule: TBA (2 games guaranteed on Saturday, Finals on Sunday)
- Location (Saturday): Friendship Community Park Field 1-4 (3370 McDowell Drive)
- Location (Sunday): Mattamy Sports Park Field 1 (5320 Ninth Line)
