U7 (2013): Panther Super 7’s Program



Program OUTline

The Panther Super 7's Program is for players born in 2013 and is designed for those that are just starting with their competitive development as well as those interested in furthering their existing  development.  Players learn ball mastery fundamentals and body movements through the use of fun exercises and playing in a Club managed 5v5 "festival" game format.

The program teaches players our “Panther Development Principals” and intends to produce independent thinkers who are confident and understand the basic technical and mental skills of the game.

Lead by our Club's Technical Coaches, the program also eases the progression to the U8 competitive program.

*IMPORTANT*
This program will only begin once Ontario Soccer has allowed our region to move into "Phase 2" of their Return to Play protocol. If on August 6th, we are still in "Phase 1," we will push the season back to August 15th and will extend the season. From there, we will go on a week-to-week basis until our region enters to "Phase 2."

  • Price: $115
  • Day: Saturday mornings (separate girls and boys divisions)*
  • Game Format: 5v5
  • Team Size: 6 players
  • Game Length: 40 mins (2×20 mins halves)
  • Location: Rotary Park (3302 Tacc Dr.)*
  • Proposed Dates: August 7th, 2020 – September 20th, 2020*
* Dates, times, and location are subject to changed based on field availability/registration numbers.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
  • Managed by Technical Coaching Staff
  • One 60 minute session per week (20 mins ball mastery, 40 mins game) + a fun tournament day (Sun. Sept 20th)
  • 6-week long season
  • Jersey & soccer ball (size 3)
* Parents will need to provide players with shin pads and soccer cleats for safety reasons.

U7 Boys
Saturdays: 9:00 am - 10:00 am *

U7 Girls
Saturdays: 10:15 am - 11:15 am *

Play together requests

Due to the fluidity and length of the season, we have a hard deadline of Wed. July 29th, 2020. NMSC will make every effort to accommodate placement on a team with if submitted by the deadline. All teammate requests must be reciprocated requests.  One-sided requests will not be considered.

FOR THIS SEASON ONLY: We are allowing each player with 2 play together requests (must still be reciprocated) instead of just one. As the team sizes are very small this season, we cannot allow more than 2 requests.

CONTACT TRACING & ATTENDANCE

The Club “Entry Coordinators” will facilitate the recording and digital storage of the entry and exit time for all players/staff/coaches and will include the following information: Name, Address, Email, Phone & Entry times. This information will be stored and used to contact all individuals in the event our Emergency Response Plan is activated (i.e. Confirmation of a positive test within the membership).
