GET TO KNOW WORRELL


Coach Worrell was born in Jamaica, where his passion for coaching started while he was still in high school. Worrell is currently the Head Coach for the U14 OPDL Boys (2006), and Assistant Coach for the U17 OPDL Boys (2003/4) at North Mississauga Soccer Club. He has a National B1 coaching licence and has recent coaching experience as the following: Oakville Soccer Club OPDL Coach, Toronto FC Juniors Coach, SC Toronto Grassroots Coach, Brams United Technical Staff, Brampton Youth Soccer Club Grassroots Coach

EDUCATION

Coach Worrell graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Civil Engineering and an MS in Civil Structural Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, where he also taught for two academic years.

PLAYING CAREER

While at Florida Tech, Worrell was a member of the soccer team. He was also a member of Essex Valley All-stars, the youth team that represents Jamaica in the Norway Cup.

FUN FACTS

Among Worrell's most memorable moments as a coach, is leading Oakville's U15 Boys to win the OPDL Cup Championship and Gold Medal at the Ontario Summer Games. When Coach Worrell is not working in soccer, he enjoys spending most of his time with his wife and two daughters... most likely dancing to an entire episode of LooLoo Kids.
