North Mississauga Soccer Club

Panther Stars (All Abilities)

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

  • Our Panther Stars program provides an opportunity for players with intellectual and physical disabilities to enjoy the game of soccer (average age of participants is 10 to 30 years old).  We want to celebrate everyone’s participation with NMSC!
  • Participants must be physically capable of participating without any serious medical condition that would put them at risk.
  • Volunteer Coaches will help operate the program. We do not expect parents to act as coaches.
  • The training sessions normally consist of warm up exercises and ball control/skill activities.
  • A parent or guardian must remain at the field during each session.
  • Our focus for the Panther Stars program is to develop the players at their own pace in a fun and healthy environment. We want to promote inclusion and help the players with skill development, team play, making friends, and being active through soccer for life.
