The Grassroots Development Program prepares players for the competitive pathway and requires players to demonstrate dedication and commitment to all team events.
The program runs continuously for 12 months, with the exception of scheduled breaks and certain holidays.
All current Grassroots Development Program players are invited to return to the program for the 2026–2027 season. Returning players will have an exclusive registration window from August 8, 2026 to August 15, 2026 to confirm their place.
After the returning player registration window closes, NMSC will host Club Discovery Days for:
Club Discovery Days provide players with an opportunity to experience the program environment across multiple days in a welcoming, development-focused setting alongside returning Grassroots Program players.
Following Club Discovery Days, parents interested in registering their child in the Grassroots Program will be encouraged to connect with the Grassroots Development Manager to discuss available options.

Additional information regarding convenient on-site fittings and receiving uniform orders directly from the Club will be shared with families prior to the start of the new season.
Returning Grassroots Development Program players will have an exclusive registration window from August 8–15, 2026 to secure their place in the program.
Registration will then open to new players interested in joining NMSC.

The Grassroots Development Program fees are allocated as follows:

The Club uses a cashless payment system through PlayMetrics. Families can pay using Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Visa Debit without additional fees.
E-transfers are not accepted for registration fees.
PlayMetrics will automatically charge the payment method on file on the specified payment date. Families will be notified by the Club if there is an issue with the payment.
If card declines are not resolved within 48 hours, a $20 late fee will apply. Most payment issues can be resolved directly within the PlayMetrics app.
The Club fees listed above do not include expenses such as tournaments, league fines, team events, exhibition games, additional team equipment and other team-specific expenses.
Once the Coach and Manager finalize the season budget, families will be informed of all additional team fees.
All refunds and cancellations are subject to the Club’s Refund Policy.
