Elite high-performance OPDL program designed for players pursuing the professional pathway, with year-round training, competition, and development aligned with Ontario Soccer and NMSC standards.
The OPDL Program at North Mississauga Soccer Club is a high-performance environment designed for U14–U17 Boys and Girls pursuing the elite pathway within Ontario Soccer. Built on NMSC methodology, this program delivers year-round training, competition, and development aligned with Ontario and Canada Soccer standards.
This is a 12-month program running continuously with the exception of scheduled breaks and certain holidays. Players are expected to demonstrate full dedication and commitment to all training sessions, matches, and team activities throughout the season.
To be considered for selection to one of NMSC’s OPDL teams, all players are required to register for and attend the NMSC Discovery Day ID Sessions. These sessions form an important part of the Player Identification and Assessment process. Full details, including the schedule and registration information, are available at nmsc.net.
Players who successfully progress through the identification process may be invited to participate in additional assessment opportunities and, where appropriate, offered an opportunity to register with the NMSC OPDL program.
Players must accept their offer and complete registration within 72 hours of receiving their contract through PlayMetrics. Extensions may be granted in certain circumstances — please speak with your coach for assistance.
All players are required to sign an OPDL Player Commitment Letter to confirm their place on the team. NMSC will process your commitment letter during your registration via PlayMetrics.
No indoor league play is permitted in the Winter for OPDL U14–U17 Boys and Girls. Selected age groups are permitted and encouraged to participate in the Futsal League organized by Ontario Soccer or the Futsal Championships.
