The North Mississauga Soccer Club will be hosting the 2017 Annual General Meeting on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 at 1:30pm.
The event will take place at Vic Johnston Community Centre (which is very close to the NMSC clubhouse). The address is 335 Church St, Mississauga, ON L5M 1N1.

In terms of itinerary, the club has announced the following:
At this time I would like to make a motion to:
1.) Delete Item 1-A in Article XII of the NMSC Constitution:
The Board is responsible for the preparation and approval of an annual budget no later than thirty (30) days after the October AGM.
Insert a revised version of item 1-A in Article XII of the NMSC Constitution:
The Board is responsible for the preparation of an annual budget that is required to be presented to the club membership at the AGM. This proposed budget is to be reviewed during the AGM, at which time members can provide feedback and seek clarification from the Board. After taking into the consideration the feedback from members, by reviewing the AGM minutes, the Board is responsible for approving the final annual budget no later than thirty (30) days after the October AGM.
2.) Currently the constitution reads from Article VII section 8C the following:
Any Member who infringes the By Laws or Rules and Regulations of the Club or brings the Club into disrepute, may be reprimanded, suspended or expelled from the Club after a hearing by the Board of Directors of the Club at which hearing the Member is entitled to attend.
I would like to amend it to the following:
Any Member who infringes the By Laws or Rules and Regulations of the Club or brings the Club into disrepute or obstructs or hinders the operation of the club, may be reprimanded, suspended or expelled from the Club after a hearing by the Board of Directors of the Club at which hearing the Member is entitled to attend.
3.) I would also like to add the following: under article XIII possible as section 13 titled Club assets.
All property of the clubs that is entrusted to the employee’s, board members or the membership, this may include but not limited to, electronic transmissions i.e emails, contracts, electronic or otherwise, coaching sessions. equipment, cell phones, computers, or any intellectual property, remains the property of the club and may not be misused, abused, deleted, destroyed, used for personal gain, altered or given to a third party without the strict written consent of the club. Non-compliance to this may result in discipline or suspension, expulsion of membership.
4.) I would like to add something regarding contracts. This would be added to article XIII section 7.
Any services rendered by a third party to the club, solicited by and member/board member or employee of the club greater then 10000$ must have a written contract outlining services rendered, penalties, payments and dates.
